Zacchaeus
There is a man named Zacchaeus in the Bible. He climbed up a Sycamore tree and was waiting to look at Jesus from the top. As there were so many people, the crowd being huge, Zacchaeus was trying to look at Jesus who was in the crowd from the Top of the tree. No sooner the Tree approached Jesus looked up the tree and said
Luke 19 : 5
“…Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house”
And Zacchaeus gladly received Jesus Christ to his home. For many is our problems in life, Uncountable problems, worries and confusion. We assume that God doesn’t care about us. God does not have eyes. God does not know about the problems I am facing. And there would be some saying that If there is someone as God let him come and save me.
Zacchaeus on desiring to find a solution for his problem, he went on to meet Jesus Christ. He might have thought to himself, “Why would Jesus look upon me?” as He being a Almighty God. But at the correct instant of time Jesus looked at him and said “Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down;”
Here let’s ask a question. Before Zacchaeus saw Jesus and before Zacchaeus telling Jesus of his problems, Jesus saw Zacchaeus. Thus don’t think that I don’t have anyone in my life and no one can save me. The God who created you is extremely aware of your situation and your status in life. He surely is watching you. His eyes is everywhere in this world. He watches us and trying to provide a solution. He is with mercy upon us. All we have to do is one thing, Zacchaeus tarried for Jesus, So should we, asking “Jesus Help thou me” in faith and look unto the Lord. Surely will God deliver you from your troubles just as Zacchaeus was freed from his problems and guide you on a path of peace.
