Spider’s Web and a Soldier
During the times of World War 2, A submarine which arrived with soldiers was distanced from the troop while getting in conflict with the enemy ships. The Soldiers somehow managed to get down and reach a forest, while the submarine was sailed far away with the waves at the pacific ocean. One of the Soldier’s departed from the group and was left being unable to contact with his teammates. Likewise he was stuck in a dense jungle being followed by the enemies seeking his life. He tried to hide from the enemies. He searched for places to hide on the mountain top and other places. On one mountain he found a place full of caves. He choose one of the cave and hid himself there. He sat inside the cave and prayed unto God saying “God, If thou wilt Save me, else if it be that I shalt die, then be it. I believe you in either of the states and will Love you”.
No sooner were the tramping of the enemy soldier’s sound started echoing. The noise created by the dried branches on the path clearly indicated the enemies approaching. Once he heard the sound he thought to himself that “God is not willing to save me today, I guess I will die”. His heart believed this thought. As he was waiting something caught his sight. A Spider. A spider was trying to build it’s home inside the cave. While it was yet building and spinning it’s web, He thought to himself “ I assumed God would build a wall out of bricks and save me but here he is building a spider’s web ” and chuckled. As the time passed the enemies seemed to be approaching near. He tried to peek outside and saw that the enemies were checking all the caves if there was a presence of anyone inside. The footstep’s sound increased and well the soldier’s were near his cave. He prepared himself to Die. He believed that the next check would be in his cave and he will die. The soldier’s approached the cave and stood beside it for a moment and went on to check with the next cave. He became Surprised. “Why would the Soldier’s not detect me?” He asked. Then did he remember the Spider’s Web. The enemy Soldiers assuming that the cave was old enough and no way that anyone would enter into a cave which is covered with spider’s webs. As he realized this, He said unto God, “ Forgive me, God. For I misinterpreted you, I thought for a wall of brick would save me but forgot that the spider’s web which you sent me will save me” and Thanked God.
Likewise We have so many problems surrounding us. Will we be able to survive this ? Will we be able to escape out of the problem alive ? would be the question in our mind. Even when our trust is on the Lord, the circumstances does not seem to be forgiving. Is there really a possible way to escape this situation? Will God be saving us from such circumstance?. For the way God works we know not thus we could have many dis-belief inside us. God can protect you not only with brick walls but also with a spider’s web.
2 Chronicles 14:11
And Asa cried unto the Lord his God, and said, Lord, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O Lord our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O Lord, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee.
The soldier’s might have been strong. But not his strength but via the spider’s web created by God was the soldier’s saved. You may be with or without strength, with or without money, with or without help that does not matter. But if God is with you, A spider’s web will be a wall of brick to protect you. To be more precise If God is with you, he will protect you and rescue you from any problems or danger’s which is to fall upon you. If you are entangled in problems pray now unto God saying “ God please give me freedom, Irrespective of my situation thou canst save me easily, it is a Simple Job for you” Surely will God Help You.
Amen.
God Bless You.
