Joshua and Problems
We all have a huge purpose before us in our life. The more we try to work it the Harder it becomes. There would be numerous of Obstacle before it. Obstacles blocking us from finishing the purpose. On that instant, How are we going to face it ?. For some there would be help available via someone or the other while the other group being separated with no help. On moments like these “Will I be able to complete my purpose?” or “Will I be able to win in my life” would your mind enquire with you. If you reading this are in such a manner, Here is what God has to say!
There was a man named Joshua in Bible. He was handed with a huge responsibility of leading more than 20 lakh Israelites from Egypt unto Canaan. Moses who came before Joshua was leading the Israelites. But now Moses is dead and the responsibility was completely submitted unto Joshua. Joshua was full of fear reasoning as the prior person Moses was of experience but How will I be able to lead this people with no experience and being of Young in Age. The other problems were
1. Jordan
Entering Canaan wasn’t not a easy thing. There is a Huge River known as Jordan which is flowing from a High Altitude. The flow of the water was at high speed and no one would be able to resist the flow.
2. Jericho
The Length being as such where 3 buses would go easily. It was a Huge Fort capable enough to hold homes. It was built on High Land.
3. Giants
There were Giants in Canaan. Anakim (Hebrew: עֲנָקִים ‘Ǎnāqîm ) a race of giants, descended from Anak.
4. Kings
There were many Kings with their armies and established throne.
After all these problem the purpose of Joshua was to take the people to the promised land bounded by all these problems. On this peak moment of complication, Joshua was scared. That’s when God spoke unto Joshua saying
Joshua 1 : 5
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Those days was Joshua sore afraid of the neighboring countries. As those giants were of big stature and strength, As there was Jordan, As there was Jericho, Joshua was nervous on leading the people to the promised land. Thus God said There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: Likewise the God who said this to Joshua victoriously led his people via Joshua to the promised land. God helped in crossing the river Jordan. The bricks in the walls of Jericho came tumbling down and the mighty fort fell. God helped to defeat all the armies who were dwelling there. Joshua completed his purpose of leading the people to the promised land. So don’t be afraid of what is in front of you. Don’t be afraid if no one is with you. As per the verse There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life i.e. No problem can stand before you through out the days of your life. God will break all the obstacles and lead you the target you are purposed to achieve.
Amen.
God Bless You.
